Roma (Re-post from Journals)

On our drive to Rome, we passed by another Contiki tour bus. To our surprise, one of the guys flashed (his chest.) While the others made some silly signs for us to read; so we decided to get them back. We also made some silly signs and Craig the driver decided to take off his shirts while driving. As we passed by the bus for the second time, the other driver (A GIRL) also took off her shirts and the same guy flashed his ass this time. Dang! I Guess we lost, however out of nowhere Liz (who was sitting next to me) decided to flashed her chest.. =) Oh man, that was a really funny moment on the bus!

We arrived into Rome about 3pm. The whole area was really different and old, but it's Rome! Kristy warmed us about the gypsies, what they looked like and that it's best to wear a money belt to avoid being pickpocket, but I didn't. The tour bus dropped us off on the top of the Spanish steps. For some reason, Wendy was in a little pissy mood, where she was being rule again. I'm guessing that she didn't like where and whom she was sitting with on the bus. Anyway, don't take that out on me. I'm not going to tolerate that lady! Anyways the Spanish step was all right, nothing special. Then we have 1-2 hours to walk around before dinner. We first headed over to the Trevi fountain, it was really crowded but I did make my wish. I still can't believe I'm really here making a wish! =) Beside Venice, this was definitely my 2 nd best moment! The tradition of the Trevi fountain is to make a wish as you throw your shoulder and into the foundation. One coin was to secure a return to Rome. Two coins were to secure the love of a desire partner and three coins were to secure a marriage.

Then we headed over to the Pantheon, it was also crowded. We finally got in and it was cool especially the oculus aka hole on the roof. Wendy was in a little pissy mood again; because I told her that I don't think I want to check out the high-end shopping tomorrow-however we can splits up and meet back at the Coliseum. I didn’t want to miss out of the Coliseum b/c of some window shopping. Beside she doesn’t even buy any or pay retail for it. Jason, Justin and I decided to get a big gelato this time; it was good- too bad Wendy decided not to get one again. We walked around the square outside of the Pantheon for some shopping and then off to dinner at this theater place. Dinner looked good, but didn't taste too good. I'm getting tired of Italian food.
